Winsome plans to acquire the Renard mine, with the possibility of converting its infrastructure to process lithium ore from the Adina project….
In recent years, Winsome has acquired the Adina, Cancet, Tilly and Sirmac-Clapier properties in Eeyou Istchee James Bay, the traditional territory of the James Bay Cree.
We attach great importance to developing close ties with the host communities to integrate their expertise, knowledge, and know-how, while taking their requests and needs into account in the planning of our projects and thus ensuring that our activities have a positive impact on their environment.
In all our projects, Winsome’s mining development follows a structured cycle of six major stages, from project definition to complete site restoration.
Throughout the process, we place the health and safety of all at the forefront and favour constant dialogue with all key stakeholders and the community. We also ensure regular updates of environmental and social studies. These principles guide our approach to developing mining projects in a respectful and collaborative manner.
